Dr. Heather Dwyer is a Teaching Consultant at the Eberly Center. In addition to coordinating the Future Faculty Program, she consults with graduate students and faculty about teaching, learning, and pedagogy. She also designs and facilitates teaching workshops and seminars for graduate students and faculty. Heather is particularly interested in issues of diversity and equity in higher education.
Heather earned her doctorate in ecology from the University of California, Davis in 2014. While at UC Davis, she helped coordinate the Teaching Assistant Consultant Program. She has instructed or helped to instruct courses in introductory biology, ecology, evolution, and plant systematics. Heather has been involved in educational development since 2011.
